MOJO Cover:

  • The cover is coloured blue which is stereotyped towards men as the more masculine colour.
  • Dave Grohl is in fact male and has a hardened face, which is less attractive to females but more attractive in a male fan's perspective due to the fact that he looks strong and bold.
  • The font is big and appeals more to a masculine female-orientated man due to the fact that it is large and can be seen as masculine.
  • There are no females on this magazine which would show the masculinity of the magazine
I have learnt about the different types of stereotypes today that show men as stronger and women as weaker, some people could find this as sexist which also adds to the predominant fact that males are more attracted to the magazines orientated to them and vice versa.

  1. Great stuff
    WWW - your stereotype work
NTT - apply those stereotypes to the MOJO cover looking at the cover lines too
